- Opening hours from 21 March to 29 March 2026:
Every day from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when we are closed. - Opening hours from 30 March to 05 April:
Every day from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. - Opening hours from 06 April to 28 June:
Every day from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, except Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when we are closed. - Opening hours from 28 June to 30 August:
Every day from 10:00 AM to 1.30 pm and from 2.00 pm to 6:30 PM, except Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when we are closed. - Opening hours from 31 August to 01st November:
Every day from 11:30 AM to 1.00 pm and from 2.15 pm to 5:30 PM, except Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when we are closed. ATTENTION PLEASE: ON 03 SEPTEMBER LAST ADMISSION IS AT 4.30 PM. ON 11 SEPTEMBER THE MUSEUM WILL BE CLOSED.

Admission
- Full price: Euro 10,00
- Concessions and Group Concessions* (min. 15 PAX): Euro 8,00
Concessions: Groups (min. 15 pax), children aged 6-12, supernumerary accompanying visitors over 15 pax.
Free admission: Children up to age 5. Disabled visitors and their carers. Accredited journalists. Guides with official ID testifying to their status. One guide every 15 pax. Montalcino municipal residents.
To obtain a concession or free admission, visitors must produce a document and/or a certificate testifying to their entitlement.

Montalcino – Secret Sites
Visit these sites outside normal opening hours, by appointment only:
- Tamagni Chancery;
- Poggio Civitella Archaeological Park;
- Church of the Madonna delle Grazie.
Tours of these sites must be booked at least 15 days in advance and are intended for groups of 20 visitors or more.
* Price concessions do not apply to visits outside normal opening hours.
